    Description

    This luxuriously heavyweight Fukuro Obi measures 11.5 inches wide and 77 inches long.
    It would be wonderful as a table runner or wall hanging.
    The design of flying cranes, chrysanthemums and temples are woven in silk with gold thread highlights.
    Fukuro is an Obi with the design on one side. Used for formal occassions.
    Orange represents wealth and prosperity in Japan
    Chrysanthemums-Kiku - represents longevity and is the crest of the Imperial family.
    White Crane (Oriduru) is the symbol of good fortune and longevity.
    Vibrant woven colors of green, orange, white, red, orange, and brown.
    Yellow represents the sun.
    Green represents new ideas and skill producing new "fruits", new solutions;
    Brown is the color of earth and represents consistency and reliability.
    Lined in yellow/gold silk.
    Excellent, used condition. Some stains on the back - photo 5.
    There are no stains on the front of the obi.
